THE HELLACOPTERS: 'Rock & Roll Is Dead' U.S. Release Date Pushed Back
January 9, 2006Due to manufacturing delays, the release date for the American pressing of THE HELLACOPTERS' acclaimed new album, "Rock & Roll Is Dead", has been pushed back two weeks to February 7. It will still contain two bonus tracks not included on any other version of the recording, as well as bonus video clips for the singles "Everything's On T.V." and "I'm In The Band". An MP3 of the latter is currently available for download at their U.S. label's web site, www.liquorandpokermusic.com.
In other HELLACOPTERS news, the band has once again been nominated for a Swedish Grammy award, this time for "Best Rock Group of the Year". They'll compete against KENT, THE CARDIGANS, THE SOUNDTRACK TO OUR LIVES and THE ARK. The Swedish Grammy ceremony will take place in Stockholm on February 7.
Expect an announcement soon regarding the group’s first American tour in four years.
